Cutting, re-positioning, and then puttying over the join seems like the only reliable way to me, unfortunately.WestRiderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10221228665636182019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6848887109592588663.post-31839731817275021332019-04-06T21:49:48.697-07:002019-04-06T21:49:48.697-07:00Nice work, Alexis. Do you think those Ur-Ghul models would take some arm/leg re-posing via the boiling water trick, or that they'd be a bit snappy?Azazelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06808623224533680043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6848887109592588663.post-61234381644735441412019-04-05T15:35:41.053-07:002019-04-05T15:35:41.053-07:00Once they're on the BSF board tiles, it looks ...Once they're on the BSF board tiles, it looks really cool. I have to give some of the credit on the Ur-Ghuls to the sculpt, letting me get that effect with just some drybrushing and washes, but yeah, I'm really happy with how creepy they came out.

The BSF bases aren't actually that complex to paint, they just need a steady hand. I'm pretty sure you could manage it. Check out Duncan's video on them.WestRiderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10221228665636182019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6848887109592588663.post-69649472467959288422019-04-05T00:28:35.720-07:002019-04-05T00:28:35.720-07:00I think your bold colours on the GSC look great bu...I think your bold colours on the GSC look great but I love the Ur-Ghuls. Its like a sort of lab rat colour scheme and very creepy. One of the reasons I haven't started painting my BSF minis is because I have no idea what to do on the bases. Can't put sand on them. I'm kind of hoping GW come to the rescue at some point although the Necromunda bases would be pretty cool too.Monkeychukahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13943869291884524172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6848887109592588663.post-6113028019094301862019-04-04T14:16:13.432-07:002019-04-04T14:16:13.432-07:00Thanks! It's a weird slow move, with lots of "hurry up and wait", so I've left my work space for later on, because getting a bit of modeling or painting in can be calming when stuff gets frustrating.WestRiderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10221228665636182019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6848887109592588663.post-74272464501272325832019-04-04T14:13:08.238-07:002019-04-04T14:13:08.238-07:00Thanks!Thanks!WestRiderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10221228665636182019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6848887109592588663.post-79927577254861152492019-04-04T05:08:28.492-07:002019-04-04T05:08:28.492-07:00I'm quite impressed that you can manage to get...I'm quite impressed that you can manage to get any hobbying done at all in the midst of moving!
