Not very visually impressive, but in addition to the obvious basecoat on the Contemptor, I've done a bunch of work adding magnets to the two Fiends, and drilling tons of little pockmarks on the DG Helbrutes for corrosion pitting.
The regular Fiend just needs some work done on a base, and then it's ready to prime. The SphinxFiend needs something to help keep the left arm gun from rotating so freely, and I need to figure out what I want to do with the head. Nurgle Helbrutes are ready to re-prime, and the Contemptor needs a green wash, and then I'm going to start picking out details on it.
Looking good, man! Jazzed to see the sphinxfiend come together!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm excited about that myself. That project's been on hold for quite a while now while, like with several others, I tried to overcome the feeling that I was going to screw it up.
DeleteMostly 'armless before. Armed and dangerous now.
ReplyDeleteIf you count the magnetized options, they're actually four-armed now. And the Tzeentch one is probably forewarned, too ;)
Deleteforewarned is four armed! Awesome! :)
DeleteI'd be lucky to get one Dread done, and you're doing five? Good luck! ;)
ReplyDeleteI've gotten three done from scratch each of the past two years, so I figure finishing up 4 or so from a selection of 8 that are already a good chunk of the way there should be doable.
DeleteAlso, keep in mind that I paint to a significantly lower standard than you do. Lets me go significantly faster in return.
